harmonic balancer question

my balancer slipped quite a bit. I found them online cheap but all say for a 92. then for a 93 they have the same ones, but there is an option for one with no balance shaft.....and that one is almost $200. will a 92 one work? I cant imagine gm used a diff balancer for 93

I'm fairly certain that the same harmonic balancer was used in 93. You do not want one for a balance shaft motor since none of our trucks came with the balance shaft block from the factory. the sonama GT did.

yeah 92 one worked great. parts stores have their database all screwed up because of the balance shaft split in 93
