[Sy1566]

Does anyone know where to purchase the brackets and hood shocks/struts to convert the SyTy OEM hood support system over to a shocks/struts system?

Thanks

Re: Hood shocks?

Might want to do a search on here. I found everything a few months ago on eBay. I put links and all in the thread.

philntex was making them in kit form years ago. http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=85301&highlight=hood+rod

Re: Hood shocks?

I received an e-mail from philntex yesterday...He said the hood shocks are not available anymore. Apparently he has quit making them.

Re: Hood shocks?

You need the longer ones off eBay. 22" I think. User "randy Merritt" started a thread about them. The longer ones are better. The philntex kit was ok but too low.
