I spilled soap in my back trunk area

I spilled A LOT of car wash soap in the back of my TY on the carpet. How can I get this up? I scrubbed and scrubbed and it just kept on making more foam all over. Any ideas.?

Actually I dunno if they still make that, I just still remember the catchy jingle the commercial had. But yeah, one of those steamer/carpet cleaner jobs would probably be your best bet.

been there done that with soap and vinegar which is even worst, get a presure washer open tailgate and shoot the shit out of it, then get a shop vac, doit up and when after u vacume take achamois and dampen it wring it out and rub the carpet it drys like a mf and leave your windows open until dry and it wont smell at all in the ty.

simple fix

take carpet out

flush and flush and flush with hose or pressure washer
let dry
put carpet back in

if the padding gets wet, simply replace it, glue new padding in with 3m spray trim adhessive

Don't bend over to pick up the soap...

If you meant your truck then Id use some wet towels to sop up the mess and keep going over it with wet towels then dry until you aren't making suds anymore.

That or just pull the cargo carpet out and hose it off.
