Missouri I-44 W Between Springfield and Joplin Red Ty

I was making a road trip in the Phoon when I ran across this beauty. The plate says "KEVS TY" and was an Illinois tag. 92 TY number 0904. The car hauler stopped in a rest area after I passed him so I flipped around and talked to him. He didn't know anything about it but was OK with me getting the VIN.

I failed to ask where it was going.

That's the second Typhoon spotting on I-44 in Missouri this week. My buddy snapped a picture of a black Ty in between Rolla and St. Robert on Tuesday morning and sent it to me. It's always nice to see one of our trucks out on the road driving or not.

Haha. That black one is mine. I was up visiting friends since I used to be stationed at Fort Leonard Wood.

"The Phoon"
That's what I used to call mine.

I thought it might be after I posted it and then saw your Avatar. I'm only about 35 minutes from the fort.

The phoon, I'm debating on getting it on the license plate.
I was stationed at FLW for 3 years and change. I loved it there. I miss that part of Missouri.

Nobody calls a Ty a phoon.

This is the Sy Ty parts truck forum.

I have problems calling them "SY" or "TY". Just doesn't sound right to me. They are Syclones and Typhoons.

Ok we'll just call them clones and phoons and parts trucks from now on

Sadly, I bet this one runs better than the bubba-styled one.
