mounting switches in shelf area

anyone done this?have pics?
need ideas like the front drink holder becoming a switch panel out of carbon fiber or molded plastic or something.
looking to mount 3 switches in the left side of the shelf by the drivers knee.
that would be a great place of wasted space to seal off a little corner for this.

the switches im mounting for curiosity sake are:
brake light/tail light kill
torque convertor lock up
velosyty duel program manual switch

Do you use your radio? I have a radio delete plate. Plenty of room for switches. You can also use a piece of PLAZ or car audio plastic. I built one for the same area years ago except you will have to drill holes for the wiring.

yes i use the radio.

the previous owner has a hole cut into the back of the shelf from a CB radio that was in here prior and i was gonna run the wires through that

love the interior- mine needs that now that paint is killer.
who made that or where can you buy it?
also whats under the trans gauge?
