My friend has a supercharged TA. He is selling the car and putting it back to stock. He asked me if i would like to buy his msd6btm ignition system with boost retard. Offered it to me for 125.00. I told him i would get back to him. How well does our trucks like the msd system? If not a good thing to use with our trucks would anyone else like to buy it from him? let me know? thanks

You dont need to use the boost timing retard function on that particular model MSD, as your stock ecm does that for you.

MSD6 BTM

I will be using this. It's gives U one more handle to play with.

That is an excellent price, particularly if U can get everything - wires, instructions, etc. It is $337 in Summit, now that I look, I paid over $400. for it, so I guess I got screwed.

actually it is only one more thing to go wrong. Since our stock ECM does it, and you can program a FAST or DFI to do the same thing, why spend the extra money on something that will only give you a headache?
