there is a circle gasket in there that has been talked about. I was able to reuse mine the first time the headers came off but this last time I took them off it got caught in the vband and tore into about 3 pieces. Normally a vband clamp doesnt use a gasket but this doesnt look like a standard vband to me. Unless more people chime in and say they run without and have no leaks then I will ditch the idea
I know waller had some at one time but was hoping there was a place I could go tomorrow and get it so I don't have to wait, I really need to get the truck going tomorrow not monday.

I saw some in Ebay one time the person was selling Grand National Headers made by ATI and had alot of ATI stuff..

I did have a few of them at one time but Ihave sold them all. I would imagine that its not really needed and as such you could do just as well to use the red high temp RTV when you put it together and be done with it. it was a pretty tight fit and it's is a v band. so try that and if it doesnt work then I'd look at finding a replacement gasket.
