NEED HELP Windshield Antenna

Hey guys trying to figure out how to run the antenna wire from the passenger side pillar to the stereo. I'm mounting it above the rearview mirror and it is amplified, Need to ground it somewhere? Do i have to remove the dash?

I grounded mine behind the passenger kick panel and then ran the wire along the edge of the windshield along the A-Piller, then around the top and it ends near my rear view mirror. I basically got it right on the edge of where the visible portion of the glass is and it doesnt seem horribly noticable.

I guess I should add...when I ran the wire from the radio, I took out the back panel from the glove box, removed all the lower dash pieces and just snaked the wire over to the side of the dash.

Ok, dropped the dash and ran the wires, was alot easier than I thought! Now I need to figure out how to ground it.

Anyone have any ideas besides running it down to the kick panel?

Sorry, noob to all this car audio stuff

Lower dash is just the lower black kickpanel pieces. There's 2. The long one that spans the dash, and the one that covers up accessing the ECM, etc. Just need a screwdriver. Need to take out the side kick panel as well.

I dont recall what my wire looks like exactly...I did it years ago. I just recall plugging mine into the radio antenna input, screwing in the ground behind the kickpanel and then unrolling the tape part of it around the windshield until it stopped.

There's a ground wire in the harness that goes into the rearview mirror.

So I can just splice into the map light ground? which one is the ground?

You can try grounding it to the roof inside the upper console.

Black is ground. If it needs power (you posted it was a 'powered' antenna) you can use the pink/blk for power. It is hot with ignition on.

91 and 92 have only these two wires. 93 also has a white and orange wire, but use the black and pink/blk which are the same functions as 91 &92.
