It's been a long time since I've been to the Nats but all I can remember was that it WAS HOT. Speaking of remembering back, anyone remember the Nats in 99? Everyone was pretty much finished detailing the trucks and were all under the big tent, eating I think, and that bad storm blew in? Everyone was PO'ed caused we just got done with the trucks and then the bad thought came across my mind, HAIL!! Luckily it didn't.
That was the first time we saw two 10 second trucks go at it. Then the two Marlbolo's go down the track. Was pretty cool.
