PTE Boost Control

I know this has been discussed previously to some degree, but I am looking for experiences with the SyTy PTE kit and boost controllers. With my 20g turbo, I had a Tial 40mm on the xover with a manual pressure regulator and was very happy with it. I would prefer to stay manual to keep it simple, but I have heard good things about the ramcharger.

For a manual controller on the PTE, all I could find in the search was a bleeder or "boostvalve" aka grainger valve. Is there a better manual controller out there? Is everyone just shortening the rod to get to 20-21PSI?

I think most peeps with the PTE have had some good boost control without anything. I had to shorten the rod a lil but other than that...not too shaby.
