Mike, Brian, Guys.,
I have just taken apart my stock block and as I feared, the broken #4 rod took about a 2" x ½" chunk out of the bottom of the #4 cylinder. So, I guess my block is history.
I knew my future plans were for a 500-600 HP build when that time came, and felt that I would want a 4 bolt configuration for that. So, considering that I would have needed to get another stock block and have it 4 bolted, I didn't feel it would be too much more to just go for the Bowtie.
