That was one of my main concerns.. For some reason I thought the older style was not progressive..
Any other differences?
Any one still running an 5+ year old kit?

Im assuming Yours came with the Shurflo style pump.. Did You order one of the black units Julio sells now?

I had a kit from the first SyTy introductory Group Purchase. They were always progressive. The new kit includes better connectors,fused power from the engine compartment, a few minor wiring difference (integrated the LED resistors into control box, different turn on led, slightly different pump wiring.) My new kit sat around for a couple years, so their maybe additional differences.
razor's SyTy kits were released a few years after his Buick turbo regals kits so those kits may have other evolutionary differences.
Julio has been very reasonable in his replacement/upgrade pricing. I ordered the distribution block and longer braided hose to move my Alky pump. He has always been very helpful to me when I was bench testing my system. Julio kit is well thought out and he really seems to understand his electronics. (I am electrical engineer). I highly recommend his Alky kit even if they are expensive than other Alky kits.

i have a second hand, or actually 3rd hand, Razor kit dated 2002. I replace the pump every 2 years just for good measure, everything else works as great.
If you are buying a used unknown kit, i suggest getting a new pump. You dont want your old pump failing when your wide open at 25psi. Julio is great with his customer service. He can send you a new pump immediately. He set me up with a larger tank & level sender, which i mounted in the bed. :tup:

That's why I like the features built into the Isac controller. It can and will compensate for your tank running dry mid-run, or the pump failing. or not pumping enough volume by implementing a fail safe to hopefully save your engine from catastrophic failure. It's also a boost controller.
