Recap on March 9th Meet

It’s getting that time to start thinking about the next meet. The last meet involved a lot of wrenching. Justin did a spring tune up, change some of his clears to a new kinda clear. Josh took his bed off to do some cleaning. Matt and I built a 3” downpipe out of 3” steel to bolt up to the PTE SY/TY exhaust housing. This DP also included the internal swivel valve. We were able to construct the whole DP with in a couple hours.

Anyways I’ve been asked if we’re going to have another meet soon. Does anyone have a preference for a certain date? I was thinking maybe we could do something like a track meet maybe out by Pittsburgh? Anyone else have some ideas?

As long as my ty is driveable I'll be there. I have to get my tranny installed (well..gotta get it 1st  ) but anywhere is fine with me. We could do a State College meet and everyone can crash at my place, but I'm up for Pittsburgh too. Easter weekend (next weekend)?? I won't have my ty then but I can still go.

Anyone?

I'm always up for a good track day. Wrench sessions are getting old IMO. Once a year is enough wrench session for me. There isn't much by Pittsburgh, none of those owners around there are active or hospitable. More than likely, our best bet is just to get together in a small group and do what we want Spence. My vote would be for us to rent a track again (not BSD) and make a day out of it. However, that may be hard to do again because owners in this state never want to do anything.

Wow, a whole day at a track? That would be pretty sweet ! Prolly gonna cost big bucks though since the number of folks who are willing to attend isn't getting any bigger !

Hope to improve on this:

beaver springs sucks. Bad altitude, slightly uphill track, and the people that work there have less teeth than normal.

I would attend if I didn't live 1500 miles away. However, my high 14's Typhoon is still in PA and will remain there until Autumn, so I'll post here whenever I'm back in good 'ol Upper Appalachia.
