Is this like watching paint dry?

I vote for Norm. Dig is spending way too much time polishing crazy stuff like tranny cooler lines and looking for the correct under bed primer color!!!

But hey I can't talk... I am going the other way and replacing everything with braided lines and trying to hide all of the wiring. Hopefully mine will get together faster than last time... That only took 5 years...

Damn, what I do set this poll off? Insiders trading secret, T-Bone has the harness out of his ty and will be mailed out monday evening or tues morning. Should have it by the weekend. The big slowdown is nascar racing is on, kills my saturday evenings. But everything else is ready to go.

Can you install a TV in the garage?

.

Yeah, but they're already all polished. The primer will likely be a winter bed-off thingy.

I'm resigned to getting it back together now, one way or another. If I have to pull the motor or the front clip to make it prettier later, I can always do that.

I also have all next week off....

Like, say, a 42" LCD wall mount?

I was thinking this one.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8669577&type=product&id=1197073928544

Best part is 5 people reviewed it. They are quite funny to read the reviews.

"Bought this TV for the bathroom and I have no regrets. I stay in the tub so long watching that my skin wrinkles and my legs fall asleep. Wife thought I was crazy for buying this (she wanted a new Escalade) but she has come around. Thinking about getting another one for the garage so I can watch Dicovery Channel while I change my oil."
Ok, someone has way to much money to be able to buy 2 of these. Let alone why are they changing their own oil at that point?

In the garage sleeping with all the high dollar cars I understand but come-on.

I would rather spend 40k on a street rod than a t.v. I thought the 42" that I have already is good enuff for me. Digg, when mine is together it will be done. None of this I can do that later stuff.Well maybe for the a/c part anyways.

How do you vote that BOTH will be done, or did that just never occur to anyone?

I'm waiting for a engine wiring harness,( haven't received a confirmation from T-Bone) on when it's to be mailed to me. But my engine/tranny is in. Everything is pretty much ready to go, just waiting for the harness. Then put on the inner fenders,rad,a/c condensor, hoses and fire it up. I think should be 3-4 evenings work.

It's gonna be nip-n-tuck... motor's in, driveline all installed.
Got a list-page of hoses and line hookup left to do...

If I could stop polishing things, it would go quicker. I actually hand washed the underside of the truck, after wiping it down with solvent to get the grease off. I'm idly considering a quick coat of cleaner-wax down there.
