What are the best spark plugs to run in my Ty??

I myself have good luck with NGKs-TR6's for vortec heads.
stock heads use UR5s.

You can also try the Denso IT16 for Vortec heads they cost bit more ..

Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to replace the plugs? I already have the right inner fender out for turbo maintenance. Is it necessary to remove the inner fender on the left? It does not look very accessible from the top.

You dont need too remove the wheel wells to replace plugs .

This is an old ass thread... Turbo Tuna. I usually do not remove the inner fenders. I just jack up the truck on stands and used a 3 foot long extension with a swivel. But I have heard that removing the fender wells and the wheels helps.
