Speaker Help

Guys, need some advise. I found this box http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/products/subs/db212/ locally, brand new, for $375 but the the "stereo room" was down so I couldn't hear them. What do you guys think? I have polk momo's in the front alpine type s in the rear, and this would go in the back of the typhoon. Also what Amp would I want and how much should I expect to spend?

Polk makes decent stuff. I wouldn't buy until you're able to listen to it though. Even better would be to listen to it in your Ty (tough without an amp).

What headunit are you using? How many pre-amp outs? Are you going to amp the Polks and the Alpines? Just the sub?

Their specs guide says to get an amp that's stable to 2 ohms. Most decent amps should be able to handle it without an issue. More power the better. The subs seems to be very efficient. I'd ask to listen to the same amp sub combo and see how it meets your needs/budget.
