well, aside from taking the dash apart, the install was very simple.

i'll get some "glow" shots up when it gets dark, as they are super bright.

my only concern is the speedo needle seems to be rubbing just enough to make it seem sluggish. i didn't think it was rubbing, but it must be. i just don't feel like disassembling the dash again to correct it. other than that, i'm loving the results. they look good with the autometers too.

well if it gets that annoying just take the dash apart again (it gets easier each time) and fix the needle. also since youll have the needle off you could also freshen em up by repainting em. the gauges will look even better with fresh looking needles hehe

mine did the same thing, but i saw that before i fininshed the job. i put a small peice of 2 sided tape that came with the gauges close to the center of the spedo. the rubing went away.

Howzit Guys,

Are the new Speedhut's laying over the existing gauges' screen's? Didja have to remove the "stopper or overtravel" pins from existing gauges and install on new Speedhut? Or are the Speedhut's drilled to accept the existing pins? Lemme know...TIA

ou have to take out the stopper pins. the speed hut gauges go right over the factory ones. and the holes where the center of the oin is is big enough for you not to mess with the needles

yup. right over the factory gauges. the oil/fuel/volt/h2o gauge was the hardest to get on. it's kind of tricky trying to get it over all 4 needles at once. other than disassembling the dash, it's a relatively easy install. just watch out for the needles rubbing on the gauges. it slows them down. i have to take my dash apart again sometime this week and fix that, because it makes my speedo needle very slow, especially when trying to drop to 0 mph.

well worth the $ imo. they look great, and are super bright.

i love the way they look. i called them with my order just to be on the safe side. i placed many orders online that always got delivered with what i did not order.
