only got 2 passes due to weather 1st pass at 10psi and just flat footing it off idle it wend 159mph,2nd pass running only 14psi and leaving off the 2 step, which may have been a bit aggressive considering the burnout after the launch:rotf:it ended up going 169mph.We have the boost turned up to 17psi and where ready for the next pass when the weather came in and we headed home.I do think it would have gone 175-180 judging by the results from the lower settings.I didnt change anything from street trim just taped off the lines where the hood meets the fender all in all Im pretty happy/impressed with the results.Ill post vids as soon as they are up

Was it stable at those speeds?? I'd be scared to death driving one of these bricks that fast!

I'm shocked they ran. The weather was pretty bad. I heard AMS went 218. What was the fastest of the day?

DR's on all 4 Dan? I know DR's aren't speed rated because of the intent for non-continuous use, but have always been a little concerned about my BFG DR's at 140+ especially on the front. Not sure how fast I have went, but definitely stretched it out in 4th gear. It is actually surprisingly stable, almost seems to "lay down". I always wondered how a Typhoon would do at similar speeds but it sounds like yours did great.

Dans surprised a lot of people out there on Saturday. It was fun watching all the reactions. FYI that Olds 442 has a BBC & Twin 88's I believe.

I was running the stock Z06 335/35/19's on the rear and 245/45/18's on the front both sets are Goodyear supercar tires that are speed rated, and yes it was surprisingly stable

Yeah it was funny hearing your dad tell me the stories of the reactions of people when I made my run "this guy in the blazer is gonna make an ass of himself" :rotf:

Whats the rev limiter set at in that truck? Looks like plenty of power, but your gonna run out of gear pretty quick I would think.

169mph already puts you in the 52-5300 rpm range. 6250 redline puts you at 193mph or so.....Probably plenty of headroom now that I see you have an LS not a 4.3 in there.
