Alright, First off I want to say NO FLAMEs please! THis setup is NOT going into a SyTy- just my sh*tty old Blazer
The reasons I want to do this are numerous- $$ considerations, SyTy crates and/or parts are hard enuff to come by, plus the V8 is already in the truck anyways. So the question is, I'm looking to bolt some sort of supercharger (not decided what kind yet, centrifugal tho) on my TPI engine and run it with a SyTy ECM, mostly for reliability and to minimize complication and having to run all seperate modules/controllers (ie- boost, timing, etc). I've heard it can and has been done, anyone have any experience with this or experienced advice (not just 'that's f*king stupid, don't do it'...) as to why or why not head down this path? I definitely need some advice, I'm planning on starting to gather parts pretty soon so any help on what to keep an eye out for or what to avoid would definitely help!
