Had my first road racing experience March 1-2, got some pictures to share. Next event I will have a go-pro, had a super fun time besides a few burnt plug wire boots causing a misfire under high boost so I kept off the floor and got the issue resolved with some auto part store wires for the last two runs Saturday. It's amazing the endurance your vehicle must go through, each session was 4 laps about 12 miles. I have got to either turn down the boost or do a race gas tune. As soon as the engine temp gets up to 200* and the intercooler is heat soaked basically after 2 laps your can feel the 93 octane doesn't care for the 19-20psi. Stock brakes did awesome and the truck did very well. I have sence replaced my crusty msd wires and installed taylor aluminum boot shields for the 90* boots I burned up. The wires already had 1 year of texas heat so my fault not checking them first. I've came down to .028 from .030 plug gap also. The temps outside were 65-70 Saturday and raining with a low of 43 by 12 Sunday. We ran in the rain which the Ty did incredibly well in.

TWS was built in 1969 and is one of only seven Super Speedways of two miles or greater in the U.S., the others being Indianapolis, Daytona, Pocono, Talladega, California, and Michigan. Thus, TWS is the only Super Speedway in the Southwest. TWS is located on approximately 600 acres on Highway 6 south of College Station, A long a fast 2.9 mile 14 turn road race circuit.
