tuner for stock ecm or standalone engine management?

stock truck. has chip but not sure which one. came with truck. i've replaced most sensors, complete tune up, replaced all vaccum lines, and upper and lower intake gaskets. when you first start the truck, the idle will surge up and down for about 10 min almost like a carburated vehicle. the previous owner told me it started this after installing the chip. i've swapped chips a does the same thing. just wondering if there was a shop near me that might know a little bit about these trucks.

Until you get the truck running right,keep your foot out of it.You could damage/destroy it going WOT.
Yeah this place is the shop.You are gonna have to be the mechanic.The first step in becoming one is having the right equipment.You need to purchase Datamaster (do a search) and install a real boost gauge in your truck.When you do,we will be able to help diagnose your problems.danny said:
