Think my pump is failing, already have a new Walbro ready. Truck already has the hotwire kit installed by previous owner. How long does it take to change the pump?

Any good tips? In my search I mostly find syclone instructions

Drain the tank first to make life easy. Get some PB on the tank strap bolts.

Get a jack or something under the tank and lower it slightly to allow you to get your hands in to undo the connections. It's cramped. Someone with small hands would help here.

Once DX, lower the tank. There is a locking ring and a rubber seal. Use a screwdriver to hammer the locking ring. It may be rusted. You may need a new one. You may want a new hanger. Up to you.

Once the hanger is out, changing the pump is pretty easy.
