vacum lines.... please read

hey , i just did the tuneup on the truck and started looking for vaacum leaks or potential leaks,,, i noticed on top of the turbo there is something that has vaacum lines going in and out of it, but one of the prongs coming out of it has now vac hose hooked up to it... does anyone know what this is and where the vac line is supposed to go! any help would be appeciated greatly.

there are 3 ports, and one is the vent (no vac line)

FYI, that's the boost control solenoid. It modifies the pressure in those vac lines in order to control the wastegate. If you have problems with that, you'll have problems of some sort with your boost also.

i have no problems, i was just checking all vac lines and i saw that was not there so just wanted to find out what should be there
