Valve Covers

If i was interested in pulling my valve covers off to tighten down a rod thats a little loose. What am i in for? Hours/costs? is it simple? is it a bitch? can i have it back on the road by tomorrow? etc...

took me aroun 35 mins to take mine off, and replace them with the vortec covers...

sigh.. seems its not a rod... i can't hear the noise on the top of the engine. I can hear it under ... to the rear of the crank case... but its not the TC or tranny.. i pulled the TC back to see if the noise was still there. it is. so im not sure what it is.... its not loud - nor gets louder. just been there for a long time.

send your oil off for analysis. Mine came back with a higher than normal amount of lead concentration before my motor broke the number three rod. I think they sell the Titan Checkup Engine Analysis kit at autozone. It might be worth a try... I should have listened to them...

I just changed my oil like 2 days ago... at the moment im running GTX 10w-30.... i usually run moble1
