What info do you have besides "Malibu"? Motor? Year? How much money is he putting down? Is his girlfriend hot?

I know of a turboed Malibu that runs 10.6's in the qtr. So, like some one else said, Johnny 5 needs more input.

Come on man, gotta give more info than that...could be anything going on under the hood. Out of curiosity where are you guys racing at. I remember Saulk and Ridgeland, Back of the Yards in Bridgeport, and Doty RD were the big places way back when. Been out of that scene for a while though.

turbo sbc can be anywhere from 13's to 8's. 12's are pretty normal for a semi built sbc N/A. i say he's low 11's at the slowest. without traction, upper 12's, lower 13's.
if you aint deep into big gun territory, not worth the gas and time. most people dont turbo a stock sbc since everything is weaker than 1 ply toilet paper. i've thrown a set of rods at 6000 rpm. that guys motor is def built to take boost.

Yeah, a friend of mine with a nice Malibu and mild build 355 with a 150 shot went mid 11s. A turbo car if setup decent should be even faster than that. I would say its going to hard for you to even hang with some major mods done.
