12.8 on 12psi!

well, i was really getting pissed about not having a proof.
i went to drive 600miles for this (without a trailer).
my ty engine has a loud rocker, and the Kr goes bezerk about that, (why i haven't tuned it)
so first run was 13.1 (bad launch(
second run (12.8)woohooooo

what will it be with 20psi? and a good tuned truck??

i had a great weekend, Ryan was lucky to not be there at the night we went into bitbug!

Fix that rocker (I've read thou thats its a bit a ghost problem for you) and start turning the boost up

Wow, I had to use 22psi on my stock motor to go 12.7, albeit with a very badly slipping torque converter. Your truck should fly if you get the knock issue sorted out.

yes, atleast this gave me the insperation, of taking off the loer intake, swap (again) all the lifters, and inspect what i will find.

you must know that Germany has no speeding limit at the highways, so i raced a VW GTI (200HP) at 165MPH from a roll..

That's impressive, but please be careful. These trucks aren't made for top speed runs. Get a Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Corvette, Supra, etc. for that stuff

How do you like that 61mm turbo? What kind of drivability vs stock? spool time ect...

i have a 3k stall, spools up pretty good, but compared to my stock syclone it's just different.
the Syclone feels like a raped monkey compared to the Ty, but at higher RPM there is no compare.
if you daily drive it, i would go with a BB turbo, and a lower stall

But thats a nice baseline as to what you can improve on. I was at 17psi on my motor to run a 12.8 lol. Funny though, upping it to 25psi only netted me a 12.3...
