1996-2002 GM 140 & 200 amp altermator

Anyone know what modification needed to get a 96-02 gm alternator will fit our truck?

I am guessing it can't be done, maybe 2 wires vs 1 wire?

ya I've got a 200a with a cs 144 case, I dont think it's that yr though, check my site un pics for my ty and you will see tons of pics on it.

That looks like an LT1 alternator?? What mods were needed to make it fit the stock alt bracket?

Ive been thinking about upgrading my alt to a bigger one, but not sure how big i need, i was thinking 140 would be plenty, but maybe go bigger to have some reserve built in. Whats the biggest output you can have on the stock alt case???
