Don't feel bad. This is 15 min from my house and I'm gonna be truckless (most likely). Been working on Tony's truck to get it ready for him and haven't had a moment to work on mine. Oh well, I like to be chauffeured around anyway.

There's a very strong chance that I will be there with a truck. I have no doubts the truck can make it. However, there are some issues that may have a case of beer or two as payment if someone can help diagnose whats going on with it (or real money too honestly)

Less than 4 weeks to go. Weather is looking good for the event and AAA announced that gas will be plummeting over the next few months, so looks like this is gonna work out well this year. We're placing the tee shirt order this week, so if you have a guest who's attending and haven't registered them yet, reply with their shirt size and we'll get 'em included (and you can register them at your convenience). Looking forward to seeing everyone and the local autocross chapter is excited to have us again.
Also, pray for no rain on Friday night so we can hit the dragstrip.

Also, for anyone who is wanting to do some tuning (or learn how to tune), we'll be doing an impromptu code59 session on Friday. Nothing special, just tuning a few trucks and a little Q&A. If you have questions or would like some one-on-one with a tuner, I'll be available as well as others (not trying to volunteer anyone, but several attendees are well versed with TunerPro).

As Hood already knows i had been planning on attending (since the last event) but in the past couple of months found out that we are having a little pope!!!!! We have plans that i have to take her too Atlanta so that she can be in a wedding that she committed too and she is too sick to be up there by her self at this point and plus the place where the wedding is I will be strapped, locked, and loaded the whole time.
I wish everyone the best and hope everyone has a great time and who knows if the wedding gets over in time i might haul ass down there and try to see everyone.
As of right now though I am not going to be able to be there sucks but I have to be there for my wife and my new baby.

Like I mentioned the other night, I wouldn't do it any differently. Family comes first and if Jess was staying in a sketchy place, I'd be there with a machete and some NoDoz to keep watch. Adam said "it won't be the same without you" the other night and he's right, but we understand completely. We'll drink a few (cases) for you.
I must confess though, I hope the groom gets cold feet and you can make it down.

Yea I normally just carry my little .380 but you can bet your ass i will have my 1911, .3080, and .40 (backup) ready to go on me.
