Hi fellas well since december 2005 and over 250 boxes sold worldwide i am unfortunatly no longer able to absorb the rising freight costs. I did the best i could do over the last 6 years to keep the prices down and have never changed my warranty provided to you guys. As of today 3/26/12 the adjusted price will be $160 shipped via paypal and it must be sent as a gift. I hope that you guys understand.

Yea i did change it but i guess since the thread is so old it wont change on the main screen. If i click on the edit tab it shows my changes but not to the public. I will contact the mods.

As I understand it, the Trans Am box is the same 12.7:1 ratio it just has less sweep due to different internal stops. Your turning circle will not be as tight, but as far as I can tell the T/A box requires a bit more steering effort than some others and is regarded as a 'performance box' by some. However that is subjective as is most things, it depends what you want. There seems to be a bit of misinformation about regarding steering boxes and I'm no expert, but Spooldups boxes look good value to me. You can buy cheaper boxes and also pay more, but he stands behind his and through the 357+ posts, no complaints! I like that.

I have a zq8 box, and it is starting to leak around the output-splines. Is that something that can be fixed easily?
