wow... it only took GM 4 years from when they said they were going to auction one of the sy challenge trucks.
some background... back when i did nats 2000 and was talking to the GM rep with us, he told me how GM was setting up to auction off one of the 2 sy challenge trucks they had in storage.
pretty much, GM only keeps vehicles around for so long and the contract runs out. when that happens, vehicles goto auction.
heres where it gets interesting.... i was also told that the PPG sy is coming up on its renewal of contract and time is running out for it as well.
thats where one of our own syty'er did some phonecalls and i *think* has first dibs on possibly purchasing the PPG.
i love that color combo on a sy...... and my truck needs paint... hmmm
