Driver side battery

I was thinking it'd be nice to just move it over to the drivers side now that the ABS unit has been removed. Oil cooler lines and air box still currently reside in factory location. Air box will be moved when the built motor goes in, and the thought was to just move the battery over there. I do not want it in the cargo area, or the hassle to move it to the area below the current location. Any Jimmy Blazers with DS mount or should I find a full size with dual battery trays to start with?

No driver side battery on a first gen s10. I think you could put a small one where the air suspension pump was. :dunno:

I know it's a bit of a unicorn, but didn't the diesel S - trucks have a driver's side battery location?

I can post a picture tomorrow of a setup I've done on a Ty with a PC680 odyssey under the stock location, does not require trimming the fender and would work using factory cables. It's pretty slick

I have a PC680 in the stock location. I was after Renz for a while to make a DS battery tray. Not enough interest. We could try again...Jim

Here are a couple pic's of the setup, I don't have the full inner fender in. It's cut anyhow because some KB A2A piping that is also currently off. I have a the stock battery in this location that required trimming the inner fender. I am happy with it, just considering going to this setup with a new full inner fender. I'm not daily driving my Ty anymore either so maybe the PC680 will due, the price is about the same as a stock battery. Supposedly last 40% longer. The 3/4 aluminum angle and battery J-hooks ran about $12
