Engine questions?

I have a few questions: I am new to the syty world just recently purchased #0460 a white all stock 1992 model, and i wanted to do some basic upgrade but keep it mostly stock, see i want to preserve the drive-ability and my ability to drive it anywhere on pump 91octane

i am gonna list my potential upgrades and possible avenues:

-9-11 3" Anti Surge Turbo GMC Typhoon Syclone LB4 TD06S-20G 10cm: dont want to run more then say 20psi i just want a little more power/better turbo
-CoolingMist stage 1 Meth injection kit with 2.5 gallon pro Tank, if i want to go above stock boost levels or what 91octane can handle
-trans and torque converter i was thinking of a bowtie or solid rebuild with shift kit and 2800-3200 stall converter
-sportsmachines heavy duty front prop shaft

i havent decided on tuning options i was thinking turbo tweaks chip and 60lbs combo but with that i require a scanmaster setup and 3bar MAP setup not sure how to do that or if its complicated, my other option is an engine management swap something like Dominator EFI or FAST not sure what is best or easiest im not a tuner per say as in i dont know how to tune so i was wondering if just installing a self learning system do i need to "tune" it or will it run ok or should i stick with stock ECM and do the TurboTweak option.

also i know there are a few other things i can do to spruce up the power but like i said simple and efficient mods for durability and drive-ability

ok so from the pros and experienced tell what im looking at and difficulty to accomplish? please let me know

Re: Engine questions?

Do all the reliability mods to it first. Good silicone vac kit if it hasnt been done yet, good ignition system, check that distributor. Whats the fuel pump? Stock regulator? You need the supporting mods before you start boosting.

Re: Engine questions?

Yah I didnt mention I was looking at a few kits for racetronic 255 direct plug and play kit along with a harness and I'm gonna do distributor sparkplugs and cables.....need to find that article on spark gap and ive already replaced a few vacuum lines with just replacement heavy duty vacuum lines slowly working on the rest

Re: Engine questions?

.028 for stockish till you start boosting then tighten up to .025. Stock plugs for stock heads
