Finally Opening!

Results:

not fast by syty standards, but it is a good first run nonetheless.

My fastest time was a 14.3@91MPH

I kept launching at 3-5 psi and the rear end would dip down so much the front suspension became unloaded and the front tires would spin in the air for a little bit (0.5 sec). I figure I have to get stiffer shocks in the rear. I was still able to pull a 1.900 60"

My 1/8 mile in that same run was a 9.000@73MPH. I don't know what is happening, but I am losing speed in the top end of my run. With that 1/8 mile time I should have been able to get into the 13s easy. Guess it is going to have to wait until the Datamaster gets here... Any input would be appreciatied please!

Oh yeah, and I was tha fastest truck there. A lightning was there and was getting lame times. His best was a 15.3 :x There was a good amount of fast AWD turboed imports there. Nothing spectacular in the street cars.

You will get better, the first time out for me in the 1/8th with a horrible off idle 2.2 60 ft was a 9.0 at 78-79 mph. There is alot of improvement in that one, I know. :p

If you can get mid 8's in the 1/8th mile let me know. :D

a 1.900 60' you are not "spinning the front tires in the air".. lol

they may be losing bite do to the weight being lifted, but rest assured you are not at the point of lifting tires yet.

Good times for the first outing.
Glad to see you stomped the Lightnings!

Get datamaster before you go racing again though.
It is highly recommended to know whats happening under the hood before you mash the pedal.
