Going lean at idle after warmed up

Driving the truck daily again. Starts up and runs 14.7-15 on the WB but as it warms up and I stop at a light it likes to creep down into the 16-17 range. I drove home last night and parked it for about an hour before going back out to pull it in the garage and it wanted to idle about 18. Cruising and boost afr is fine. Running code 59 but pretty new at it. What tables should I be looking at?

I'm not sure I believe the WB readings. Look in the WBO2 section of Flags/Switches and make sure only the flag that matches your WB sensor is set. I don't know how it can idle at an actual 18:1 ratio. If the flag is set correctly, maybe the sensor is not staying hot enough to read correctly. There could be a problem with the heater in the O2 sensor.

Its a plx wideband. I know the flag is set correctly as its the first thing I checked. Probably have 500 miles on it since I installed it.

Re: Going lean at idle after warmed up

If only at idle{closed throttle|. Table F57 may help. The numbers on the left side are for coolant temp. in Celsius. Lower the number in the cell to the right of the temp or temps it is lean in.This table is used if your afr is correct when you are under normal driving temp. That you have already set in F29x.

Table F56 is used for off idle adjustment of AFR as the engine is warming up.

Edit: I just re-read your post. You are going lean after reaching operating temp. My above info would do nothing for AFR at normal operating temps. Did you wait until you were at operating temp. before adjusting F29x? If not you should. I just thought if you had adjusted 29x while the truck was not yet warmed up. Then you may get the symptoms you are describing.

I get the same thing. Not 18 AFR but 16 AFR at idle after warmer temps are reached. Its got to be a table with temperature adjustment. I will also try the F57 table. Good info.

No real progress on this. Cant get Tunerpro to display any data. I did datalog with Datamaster and noticed that the truck is running in the 220 degree range. Been having some health issues and been luped up on some pain meds so I really haven't been doing much especially driving.:(
