I am going to the track this Sunday at MIR in Maryland. This is my first time ever so I was wondering what should I do and not do. I want to use race gas, but don’t how much and kind to use, so I can use the T317 and T217 settings. Should I launch in 1st gear or just leave it 3rd or over drive and hang on?? :D

Thanks
Joe

T1's settings, most can get away with t116 or t117 on pump gas. It really helps to have a scan tool to look at your Knock Retard.

Launch in D, shift in OD. know how to do the rev in Nuetral to build vacuum in your brakes. Try it before you get to the track and launch with some boost 5 psi or so is a good starting point.
