what are my options? rebuild it?? or buy another?

I have one in good shape for 75 shipped. Boot is not torn at all.

Buy an aftermarket one.. Gilbert etc and never look at it again.

Ditto. If you opt to run a stocker, make sure that you put aside some money for a safety loop from Phil Chivers. That way if it does let go, it doesn't take out your transmission or worse.
