Yes, it was my last run of the day before time ran out and I missed 11's by the hair on my ass. Figures.

12.061 on stock motor, TE-44, stock injectors. ~116,000 miles on motor.

I've decided to not make another try at 11's with this setup. I'm considering stepping up to a 50# chip and injectors. I think the extra fuel should put me solidly into the 11's.

To, me it seems like you have enough MPH to run 11's. I am sure traction is becoming an issue and running 11's is easier said than done...

Nice ! I have the same setup (less miles) and have run a 11.75 @114, so your mph is high enough. What was your 60 foot time?

Damn! Didn't realize it was a ty. Outstanding!

No it's a Sy.

Best 60' was 1.72 that day.

I'm having some problems w/ false knock and an intermitent cut out which I haven't found the source yet, but I'm sure it's ECM related.

I know if I can fix this problem I've described to the list before, the truck should run high 11's no problem.

man, should have shaved your ass prior to going to the track.

Good run, have you considered alki instead of bigger injecters? Curious to what your MAT's are at the end of a run.

MAT's were very low under 110 degrees. I ran C-16 for better cylinder cooling, aquamist water injection w/ dual .6mm jets and the RPM A2A. The good gas an water injection was extra insurance against melting pistons. My aquamist pump seals don't like alcohol. They swell up and the flow rate drops by 50%. I use it more for lowering EGT's than boosting octane. I'll leave that for the race gas. I wouldn't want to run on alky w/ pump gas. There is a risk of poping the motor if the pump fails to deliver the alky.

I'm going to change out the knock sensor for a new one. I've heard they false knock when rusty.

I was reading the other day, and found out about some sweet shit. VP makes some race gas called VP import, rummored octane is 125. (listed as 120+). Cheapest I've seen is about 18$ a gallon, but it may be just what you need to break into the 11's with a touch more boost. Also, when you get the false knock, is it only during shifts? Mine is doing the same (giving me 6-8 knock retard, running 14 psi, alky injection, and xylene.), I've heard worn motor mounts can cause this, but I've yet to try the tie down strap to check.

I never heard about the worn motor mounts causing false knock, but I won't rule it out since my mounts are stock and begining to crack. I don't look forward to changing them. If I do, the motor is coming out for a rebuild. The knock isn't steady or progressive, it jumps from 2-18 degrees. I'm sure I'll find the source eventually. Just need to find time these days.
