LS1 Brakes/ Spare Tire

I upgraded the Typhoon with front and rear brakes from an LS1 F body. Does the factory TY spare still fit with this brake combo?

Don't think so. Since mine is 2wd with the LS1 conversion, I put another rear factory stock SyTy wheel (16") as a spare. A minimum of 16" wheel is needed. Some have found stock Vette spares as replacement, but I could never find one at the local yards.

Something is screwy with the thread above. It reads weird (like something is missing). Anyway, I still use both spares (GTO on the Sy and the C4 on the SoGT).

Hmm. Didn't know these came with a 16" spare or is this something someone added?

All typhoons ive seen have 16 inch spares and syclones have 15 inch spare.
