Might be a tie for 4th in the top 10 fastest last nite 10.71

I am not sure if there is a tie for 4th place in the top 10 fastest syty's.

reason being i cant find an actual timeslip for turbo tony's 10.71 run. i watched the video on the canadian site and it appears the scoreboard was only showing the digits XX.xx as opposed to XX.xxx so i dont know what the thousands was onhis run. but here is what happeded last night.

rt .021 <---- gotta love leaving off a button.
60ft 1.492 <------ not my best 60ft spun a little (didnt use the groove)
330ft 4.372
1/8th 6.808
1/8th mph 100.69 <---- finally got over 100 in the 1.8th
990ft 8.861
1/4 10.715
mph 125.71

Phil long i need to know exactly what other tires you had tested prior to the green dots? all of the ususal stuff?

Anyway i tie for 4th isnt the final goal so just gonna have to keep workin at it.

oh and tom ferrick ran a 9.60 yesterday spinng like a somb....

yeah kinda looks like that dont it! ya know if we could figure out how to launch with everything and get it to hook OMG!!! we did this with 14 psi launch instead of 17 and ramps turned down 2.

I have only used firestones and the green dots. Try some et drags and see how they do

tell doc to relax! wont happen with this cam, turbo, head combination....

but you can tell him i do have a bowtie block sittin here, havent decided yet whats gonna be done with it.

ed, it better be put in your beast! big turbo, good set of heads and the bowtie, you should be knockin on the back door of #3,2 and 1.

the heads made a huge difference in our truck from last year. the last run we made at memphis, before our new "upgrades," it ran 10.02 at 18 lbs of boost. last year it ran 10.0x at bout 22-23. the only thing we changed were the "improvements" to the heads. so they are the key to our truck! with the way your truck is leavin the line there's no reason why u cant do the same thing. if you've got the 60' down pat then all you need is sum more HPs!

go out ur backdoor and pull sum more cash off ur money tree then there's 3 - 9 sec syclones!!!! 8)

yeah have to agree with that. got more torq than we can use at the line.... just nothin left with this puny 412 cam... also lookin like we may have maxed out the gt40, so rather than a single a large turbo that takes a while to spool thinkin about the possiblity of dual turbos that we wont max out that will give quick (under 1.5 second spool up) and on and on and on..... just this time its gonna be planned out instead of just throwing all the pieces that are the standard fare used by this board.... i.e eventually you reach a point doing this where the standards, kits, and the like just wont do it anymore..... like the 700.... matt no doubt you and doc went thru thru what i am referring to. The learning curve is directly tied to the money tree.

treated myself today... this guy was selling a 2 year old mint condition 2800 snap on box. 53 inch long. he couldnt get any offers so i offered 1k for it.

he gave up aft 3 weeks and i got it on monday. today snap on dealer comes in.
hey pete you wann buy a tool box. so i traded this new box that was 53 inch long for a deeper taller 72 inch long box and got 3k off the price of the new one....

so list on the new was 7800 and i got it for essential 4800 after my trade.
3k off! I know the markup is high on this stuff. but i got tired of having my stuff spread out amongst. 2 rollarounds, 2 hangon, one top and one middle unit. this new box is friggin HUGE! keith it maight be bigger than the one you have.
