need advice - rich idle-pte52 setup

Truck is running great...but I'd like to lean out the rich idle...We are going to die of carbon monoxide and/or lead poisoning here...suggestions? Titer gapped plugs seemed to help a little (took me from 900 to 800mv at idle) other ideas? I'm afriad to back off fuel pressure with this borderline knock issue going on

FYI new mods:
vigilante(precision industries)2800 stall conv, pte52 kit, electric dump, 50's, 3 bar, phil long v.5 chip for this plus stock motor set on "4", tb air foil, 2nd f. pump external and inline "ala grand national"

If it NEEDS to stay rich at idle to run right then I'll deal , but it would be nice if I had to breathe a little less fumes...stronger coil? hotter t-stat?

thanks again

Matt

Yeah do you have a wb02?

When I fire my truck up cold, it starts at around 13.1 and goes down to about 11.8 the warmer it gets. Now, if I tap the gas a little and bring the rpm's up to about 2k and let it idle back down it comes back to around 13.5 or so. This is wth it in park I think it goes a little richer in Drive, and then comes back down as well. I think its just a startup thing with mine as well. Doesnt bother me though.

i read about issues like this. What happens is that your injectors are to big a lot of times, the injectors basicly are opening the minimum amount and stil putting to much fuel even at the smallest duty cycle. You probably need smaller injectors and more of a rising rate fuel regulator. Thats my understanding of it. but im still a noob to all this. Just soaking up what i can where i can

I can lean mine out so much it will die at idle and I use 75# injectors but what do I know I just mess with this stuff all the time. Just trying to keep the mis information down for those doing searches later!

My 50# Ultimate for stock motor idles at 12.5 AFR...still too rich for my liking. The only mode that idles at 14.7 is VALET. Will be going with another solution shortly.
