, but i think its mostly cause of the NGK UR5's. I love those plugs. I always had knock with the AC's. Even last summer when I put the NGK's in i saw no knock and i was surprised then. Now, these same plugs I installed last summer, that have at least 4000 miles on them, still going strong.

You know it would be interesting if you could stick the stock plugs back in and do a pass and data log it, then go home and switch the plugs back to the NGK's and go back to the same place with the same temps and same enging load (no hills to climb) and data log a second time for that evening and then post the data log sheets on the forum. I know that changing the plugs is not the easiest thing to do! But it would be very cool to see the to side by side under the exact same enviromental conditions.

I did this once with octane boost in a can mixed with my fuel, did a pass witouth then one with and posted the results years ago.. very interesting .
