Just got back from mmp New Best

1.68 60'
7.522@91.85 1/8th
11.841@112.14 1/4

Truck is stock motor with 123000miles Mods Are alky,50#ers ,ultimate, pt61, fmic,and zr1's with real radials( not drs) 22psi
I am going to the track friday night to try and inprove on the 1/8th.

Takes lots of whats the word I'm looking for ohhh yeah persistance. Realy there isnt alot of tunning. I run a box stock 50#ultimate, pt61, 3200 lock up and a home made alky kit. The last run was on sumitomo tires on zr1 rims. Now on to the caltrac's and greendots. Phillip how do I get more than 20 psi in 1st and 2nd gear?

you should be getting at least 20 psi at the top of 1st gear and more in 2nd. Thats a pretty big turbo so its questionable I suppose. Does the boost fall off when it shifts? With caltracs and green dots you should cut off .2 sec easily. The best I ran on the stock motor and no nitrous was 7.00...go for it!

Phillip I get 20 psi at the top of 1st. and it goes to 21psi in 2nd and will creep to 23by the top of 3rd. and yes it does fall about a pound at the shifts. I am hoping to get down to you number gotta have goals and if you set goals you gotta set them high. With the sumitomo's it feels like it is unloading the left front at the 1-2 shift ( feels cool like its poping a wheely) cant wait to try and leave on some boost. My best 60'on the sumitomo's is by bringing the boost up to 0-1 psi and sidesteping the brake and hitting the gas at the same time.
