Ok,

I know from the factory there was some small bracket of sorts attached to the ac heater box that supported the heater core lines.. but I've deleted my ac completely (bracket and all) some time ago.. and noticed that there was no support bracket for the heater core lines anymore.. no biggy well the braided lines connected to it seemed to kill the heater core rather quickly so I was wondering what others that have deleted there ac and ac heater box were doing in way of supporting the heater core lines from moving much?

any ideas before I spend the dough for a replacment heater core etc would be much appreciated

Ryan do you have a non ac heater core? I think Ken aka warmpancakes mentioned a non ac heater core had much shorter cooper lines so less stress. Just a thought.

I have the non a/c box. all I did is cut the lines down with A die grinder just enough to get the hose's on. If your looking down from the top of the box my lines are flush (cut off) with the box. You can allwas get A bracket of some kind & use A sheet metal screw to mount it to the box.

damn... ok it makes sense now, my current heater core is the factory AC one

gonna have to order up a non ac heater core and see how long the tubes are.. and if they still look a little long for my taste i'll trim em down like you mentioned AJ

Thanks guys!
