Hey everyone, I don't post much, but I use this site for invaluable information. I just finished swapping the motor in my sy. The build up is as follows, eagle rods, forged pistons, comp cam (intake .457 lift 266 duration exhaust .457 lift 262 duration), new roller lifters, new hardened pushrods for guide plates, harland sharp roller rockers, stainless valves, chromemolly silicone valve springs, heads pocket ported, studs for the main caps, and so on. I feel that I covered all the bases for reliability and performance. The reason for the swap is due to #3 being down 50 to 60 psi on a compression test. I believe the rings may be broke or froze. Before I pulled it out I was running 13.2 at 104 on a g tech very consistently. My issue is the new engine is over a full second slower. Just a side note, i built up a donor motor and saved the numbers matching motor.
