First and foremost - your kit looks awesome. Definitely a ton of time and effort in this!

Kind of brutal to call caltracs a bandaid - one of the fastest 275 cars in the country runs them with leaf springs....... Just sayin. 4.40s in the 1/8 with leaf springs and caltracs ain't too shabby......

Lots of suspensions can be made to work, and no doubt caltracs and other parts can do that.

If your one and only goal is straight line performance caltracs might as well be the way to go. In fact the top fuel bike team I am on that run a 1.0 60 ft and 6.0 quarter mile at 240 mph has NO suspension. It would drive in a road course or on the street horrible.

All designs have compromises to some degree. I don't see caltracs being used for road racing. I also would not suggest my bolt on kit for running 8 second or faster quarter mile times with no goal to drive on the street.




At this time do not need anymore test vehicles. Hoping to have parts ready early oct.

Sounds good, I'm definitely interested in this. I plan on doing the front and rear suspension this winter/spring. Dare to be different then the other Syclones!!!

I would say for those skeptical, sit back and wait and see what others say when they install it. That is really the true test that isn't bias.

Just what I wanted to hear. I'm in. I just gotta stop buying shit for my other hobby. I think I will be soon, but then the wife wants to remodel this and that, blah! I have not worked on my junk in 2 years, but I need to this winter. Rear suspension is last on my list, but is a priority. I have almost everything I need to get her going, except a dash, but I need to get motivated and get some wheels/tires. Damn c6 zo6 brakes make me run 18". Ugh.

Quit bullshittin Palmer. You'll never work on it again let alone buy a suspension for it.

So final testing is just about wrapped up. I have the final top fuel bike race coming up this weekend, and along with that I will get to personally inspect our prototype in the wild. Few tweaks and changes as always based on testing, but overall everything is good.

The JSM website is now alive, with a working shopping cart. A lot of work behind the scenes to get that working, and some great help doing so. We have everything we offer syty world posted on there, including 1 new small product. Good news is we have designed a rear suspension that has exceeded my goals so far in ride and performance. That does complete our goals for the syty market though, as we have other models of vehicles in que for suspension designs going forward.
