Just FYI for all you west coast (primarily Bay Area) racers.

There will be an open test & tune event here on Sunday, February 15TH prior to the Presidents Day Summit E.T. series opener. The gates will open at 10:00AM with testing running from 11:00AM - 3:00PM. the cost is $50 for car & driver and $10 for crew. Overnight parking and tech cards will also be available for the following day's race.

Weather depending of course.

The 3:00 pm quit is cast is stone due the curfew in their operating permit.

Re: Test & Tune at Infineon (Sears Point)

No clue, been racing there for 4 years and the is the first T&T I've seen them do. Normal race days are easy. Basic NHRA stuff like a helmet if you're gonna run under 14. Bat disconnect if you moved the bat. Decent rubber. After that you're in. Now if go down the track and click off an 11 flat or under they might come over and take another look. :rotf: I'm betting on a lot of cars if the weather's good so I wouldn't be to concerned.

Hope to see ya...
