for people that are following the progress of the typhoon and the all wheel drive corvette i've been involved in building with the guys in europe i wanted to post the progress. they just called me from europe and just today at a meet the twin turbo typhoon went 9.36 which set a new polish racing record. i think there is still more in it too. the racing there is on airport runways that are setup for racing but do not have good traction. all the way down the track it kept pulling harder and harder and at the end was still pulling hard. i think we will get a 9 flat or faster with it. this was the first race of the season there. for those interested we cut back on boost and used some juice.

the awd corvette made it's debut also. we are having a bad miss in the motor but it still went mid 10's first time out. i will post some pictures of it tomorrow.

my only regret is that i'm stuck in the US tonight and am missing out on the party... :(

i'll have some pics tomorrow. it's 3pm here and going on 10pm there so they probably won't get me anything tonight. as for videos i don't know how long it might take to get me any videos through email and sending them takes a while

i want to see them too :) this is the first race that my name has been on the car so i'm looking forward to some pics. is this the fastest anyone has ever gone in an awd ty no matter what kind of motor is in it?

Da...Getting old is not only memory loss, but the sight must be going also. I think I remember somebody doing like a 10.61 et in an AWD V6 TY ;) ...but that's a long way from a 9.3 et.

yes john... but your stereo definitely sounds better than on this one.. :) how's the race ty coming?

As expected...slow at the moment. A lot of little things and I was held up because racing season started and my Fab guy had to get a number of hard core, door slammer rides tweaked for the season. These are guys running 5.0s in the 1/8th! Hopefully it will be ready for the paint shop in the next 30 to 45 days. It will be completly diassembled for paint and then reassembled, interior installed and wired.

Glad I have my other one for the summer!
