Whath engine Z or W

HI guys.
I have analysed the motor with its TY, now I need rebild crank. But I seem that in machine is installed not original motor. What define that this Z or W. Than differ cranks Z and W?

You have a Z motor, as they came from the factory. I do not believe that the crank you get matters Z or W, except that it needs to be for a pre 1996 model and has to be for the 1 piece rear seal

i would stilck to a crank from a non balance shaft motor, not all Z motors are non balance shaft, the blance shaft motors used a few different cranks and rods, if you mix and match you can cause problems i personlay have a few different varations and they have there differences

all vin Z motors are non balance shaft. The L35 (vin W) and LU3 (vin X) are the only ones with balance shafts

They aren't true LB4's if they have a balance shaft... hrrm, they must have swapped the Z designation to the L35 when the new style pickups came out... makes sense because the LU3 out then too

yea i have only seen them in new style pick ups, looking at the manual they seem to be L35's with a TBI sized cam, and i think TBI heads the manual still uses the term LB4 for the engien though
