What's the breakdown of Typhoon production numbers by color?

I've done some searches and come up w/the fact that 2500 were made for 1992 and 2200 for 1993 (w/the last one not being sold to the public and put in a museum) and the list of colors as follows:

1992 list of colors
Black w/ Black
Black w/ Gray
Frost White w/ Gray
Aspen Blue w/ Gray
Bright Teal w/ Gray
Apple Red w/ Gray
Forest Green Metallic w/ Grey
Radar Blue w/ Radar Blue (2 total)

1993 list of colors
Black w/ Black
Black w/ Gray
Apple Red w/ Apple Red
Apple Red w/ Gray
Frost White w/ White
Frost White w/ Gray
Garnet Red w/ Gray
*Royal Blue Metallic w/ Gray
Forest Green Metallic w/ Gray
Raspberry Metallic w/ Raspberry Metallic (2 total)

This is all well and good but I want to know how many of each color were produced for each year. Sorry if this is a repost or somewhere else but I couldn't seem to find it.

Also, anyone have photos of the two colors that had only two produced each year? (Radar Blue w/ Radar Blue & Raspberry Metallic w/ Raspberry Metallic)

11,070 miles on the odometer.
Custom suspension, pre-production engine parts, was to be crushed in '95.
Owned and Stored by GMC.

BTW where are the 2 Radar Blue and Raspberry Ty's at now? :-?

I spoke to the owner of one of the radar ty's. He was crusing by a dealership when he saw it sitting on the front lawn in sf, ca! It was in a hail storm while he owned it and he sold it to some collector who at the time had almost every color ty supposedly.

Yeah, I think he goes by Typhoon Tim or Troy or something. One was here and one was in the UK. I have a pic but it's tiny. Very good looking color though. The Raspberry is as it describes... girly IMO.

Typhoon Tim sold his Radar long ago... it needed some TLC and I think medical problems forced the sale.


BTW, this is a old topic. No one knows the breakdown.

Merk has been working on this question for years while he slowly works through the build sheets for every truck.

Patience pays off.

actually there were 2498 - 92 typhoons

as far as color - opie, brian and i have been working on it.

We finished the 92 sonoma gt's

All we need to do is share some of our info between the three of us and it may get completed before my kids start school

Wow, that's quite a process. I would also be interested to know who the radar blue truck sold too and if it was still in need of some TLC as I wouldn't mind owning that truck.

I have a feeling that if you gave him your first born it wouldn't be enough. When i had called about it he just sold it otherswise i would have signed the dotted line long ago. O also no biggie on that box. You will love the way the ty turns!

Yeah, I mean the current owner. EVERYTHING has a price tag. Just a question of how bad you want to pay it.

It drives great. I've driven the S10's with and w/o it and it makes a night and day difference and I'm just glad it's already done and is one less thing I need to do when I get it. Now I can focus on the A2A and intake/battery relocation set-up.

Dang! I would have paid that and brought 'er back. Any word on if the new owner had messaged it or is it still sitting in the same condition? I really love the color and the fact that it's SO rare is that much more of a bonus. Anyone know any more details about it?

Well, I'm looking at fabbing my own using a Saab core as of right now because I don't like the price tag ($1,200) on the RMP or ATR or whatever it is. Where can I find more information on it?

It's my thread. I want to talk about A2A now since nobody has the answer to the question for another 20 years from the sounds of it then this thread wasn't really going anywhere anyway.

I'm not a real big fan of that color personally. I wouldn't want one just because they're rare, although if it looks cool and is rare then that's a double bonus. I've only seen one smaller photo of the Raspberry one and though it looked too pink for my taste.
