So yesterday the windshield wipers on my 93 typhoon stopped working and it killed the car when the fuse blew. I replaced the lever with the wipers and cruise control on it this morning and when I tried everything out again, it blew the fuse and immediately killed the typhoon again. Any thoughts?

I just replaced the switch in the steering column, the one that has the big multi wire blade connector on the side of the lower part of the column. Still does it. Turn signals aren't working either but the flashers do. The fuse won't blow if we un hook the wiper motor in the engine compartment but turn signals still don't work for some reason.

Sounds like you have a short in the wiper motor since the fuse doesn't blow with it unhooked. As to why the turn signals now don't work, check the connections on the steering column since you changed parts there. It also could have fried something one of the times when it shorted (possibly the turn signal flasher).
